Water spirit + Misc sketches

Hi Folks^^

This first piece is my entry for the current CGhub drawing jam http://cghub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12742

The theme is "water spirit" i've done a quick search and found that :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelpie ..so i took the basic idea of a horse that haunts the the rivers and tried to do something with it ! ^^

Ravenskye City assets

These assets were done for a game called Ravenskye City ( 6Waves company ) on facebook ..it was  fun doing these and i've learned some few things epecially in terms of colors .. however i still like  doing concepts only ..when it comes to finalising the assets it becomes boring for me! ..

I was glad to work with them anyway ..even for a short time, they were so pro!

Note : the 2 pieces in the middle were started by other artists...i've only did the final paint over ^^

The Descent

I wanted to work on something but i had no idea what to do so i've decided to do some thumbnails to choose from http://leyth-art.blogspot.com/2012/07/thumbnails.html and it turned out to be so relaxing and a good way to do some cool compositions.while doing that i was thinking a bit about the back stories of each one but i stay just with general ideas i dont get into details..i've chosen the one below and it's called "The Descent" a queen going down from her palace in the forest for a very special event (yeah so general ! ^^)..

By the way, she's wearing a kind of the Moroccan Caftan !^^ 

It took me a while to finish it ..adding and deleting elements!

Final result?...coming soon !^^
